We are a little over two months into 2018, with spring around the corner. Did you stick to your New Year’s resolution? Personally, I didn’t officially make one this year… toward the end of last year, I decided to make a lifestyle change to have a more positive overall outlook on life. Although I struggle at times, this outlook has carried over to the new year and is still going strong!
What was your resolution this year? Did you stick with it? If you did, that’s amazing! If not, please don’t beat yourself up. The new year is a natural time for people to want a fresh start. Don’t wait until next year — if you are not happy with something in your life, make some changes. A small percentage of people actually keep their new year’s resolutions. You don’t need to wait until next year to make another one: you can work toward what you want now.
Take a moment and think about what you want to achieve and break it down into mini goals that you could accomplish daily. If you are able to do a little something toward your big goal every day, you will start to get more motivated as you get closer to your final goal. Every day is a new day!
